Hospitality Websites: From Beautiful to Useful

The Aesthetic Trap

Many restaurant and hotel websites are designed to look like editorial magazines, but they fail at their primary job: helping a guest make a decision and take action. Beautiful photography is essential, but if finding the menu, checking hours, or booking a table requires unnecessary clicks, the design is failing the business.

Frictionless Reservations

The reservation or booking path must be the path of least resistance. Integrations with OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms, or hotel booking engines must be seamless. Guests shouldn't feel like they've left your brand experience when it's time to pay.

Mobile-First is Mandatory

In hospitality, the majority of traffic is mobile. Guests are looking for directions, making last-minute bookings, or checking the menu while walking down the street. If your site requires pinching and zooming, you are losing revenue.
