CLIENT CONTEXT

Piazza Motor Nights was created as an opening-night automotive lifestyle experience for Monterey Car Week, produced by Nuraveo at the Courtyard by Marriott in Sand City. eLab Communications developed the brand, digital experience and campaign system surrounding the event, positioning the vehicles as part of a larger evening of hospitality, entertainment and automotive culture rather than as a conventional car show.

Brand Strategy

Positioning the Opening Night

Piazza Motor Nights was developed as an opening-night destination for Monterey Car Week—an evening where exceptional automobiles were presented as part of a broader lifestyle experience rather than a traditional static car show.

eLab Communications developed the event positioning, brand identity and creative system used to introduce Piazza to the market, establishing a visual and verbal language that connected automotive culture with hospitality, nightlife and the energy of Car Week.

The Digital Experience

The Piazza Motor Nights website was designed to move visitors from discovery to reservation while communicating the character of the evening.

eLab created the responsive digital experience, presenting the event story, automotive highlights and ticket options through a clear mobile-first journey.

The ticketing structure supported both the VIP reception and Evening admission, with tiered pricing and guest communications designed around the different levels of access.

Automotive Storytelling + Content

The campaign was built around more than a list of vehicles. eLab developed content designed to communicate the atmosphere of the evening and the relationship between the cars, guests, venue and broader Monterey Car Week experience.

Automotive imagery, event creative and digital storytelling were used across the website, promotional materials and campaign channels to establish Piazza as an evening destination rather than simply another stop on the Car Week calendar.

Building the Campaign

eLab Communications developed and managed the communications framework used to bring Piazza Motor Nights to market.

The campaign combined advertising creative, digital promotion, public relations, media outreach, event listings and guest communications with targeted media strategy designed around Monterey Car Week audiences.

The same visual and messaging system carried across the website, advertising and promotional materials, creating a consistent path from initial awareness through ticket purchase.

From Campaign to Opening Night

The campaign culminated on August 10, 2026, with Piazza Motor Nights opening Monterey Car Week at the Courtyard by Marriott in Sand City.

The event welcomed approximately 250 guests, and the dedicated VIP reception sold out.

Nuraveo translated the concept into the live physical environment, while eLab’s brand, digital and communications system connected the guest journey from discovery and ticketing through arrival and the event experience itself.

The result demonstrated how a unified brand and campaign can establish a new event identity within the highly competitive Monterey Car Week landscape.
