Security, Recovery + Infrastructure

During the engagement, eLab was called upon when a critical security incident compromised the event’s legacy website. Working with stakeholders from Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Pebble Beach Company, eLab identified and contained the source of the compromise, restored service and helped stabilize the affected environment.

The incident became the catalyst for a stronger technical foundation. eLab rebuilt and managed hardened server environments with improved security, infrastructure oversight and operational controls designed to support the event’s increasingly sophisticated digital systems.

The First Cloud-Based Judging Platform

eLab Communications designed and developed the first cloud-based digital judging platform used by Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, replacing a fragmented manual process with a centralized online system for managing entrants, vehicle history and judging workflows.

The platform maintained entrant records and years of historical vehicle submissions, including photographs, scanned credentials, specifications and supporting documentation. Authorized users could review prospective entrants, evaluate submission histories and support the selection process for vehicles invited to participate.

The system also supported centralized judging and administrative workflows, including vehicle records, scoring information, class results and event management data.

Registration + Event Operations

eLab also designed and developed the registration and management platform for the Pebble Beach Classic Car Forum from scratch.

The system allowed attendees to register online, select Forum sessions, manage participation and receive confirmations while giving event administrators centralized control over schedules, capacity, payments and credentials.

This replaced a more manual administrative process with a structured digital workflow designed specifically around the operational requirements of the Forum.

Ticketing + E-Commerce

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance did not previously have an integrated online e-commerce system. eLab Communications designed and built a custom ticketing and commerce platform from scratch to support online transactions for the event.
